EXT. EAST DIVISION, PHILA., PA. - ROAD - NIGHT
Their unmarked car reaches an intersection.
GUNSHOTS... SCREECHING TIRES... a blue Olds streaks past. INT. UNMARKED CAR - NIGHT
Sparky is startled grabs for the radio. Jesus casually watches the speeding Olds, then floors it.

                                                                         JESUS

                                       Get your goddamn hands off of that radio.

                                                                        SPARKY              

                                                                    Any reason?              

                                                                          JESUS

Against policy to pursue. So what they don't know won't hurt them. Now keep an eye on Zippy' on your side.  Saw him dipping his shoulder reaching under the seat.

                                                                         SPARKY

                                                                          Got it.

EXT. EAST DIVISION, PHILA., PA. - ROAD - NIGHT
The SIREN kicks on and the unmarked car accelerates at the speeding Olds.

GUNSHOTS erupt as ZIPPY leans out the passenger side window, FIRING a semi-automatic at the Highway team.

INT. UNMARKED CAR - NIGHT
Jesus leans into the steering wheel, gritting his teeth.

                                                                           JESUS

                                                         Hold on, Ramming Speed!!!

                                                                          SPARKY

                                                You realize we're doing about a buck ten.

                                                                         JESUS

                                                         Well... buckle up, 'Nancy'.

Sparky grabs his seat belt.

                                                                    JESUS (CONT'D)

                                                          HOLD ON!...Ramming Speed!!!
 

EXT. EAST DIVISION, PHILADELPHIA, PA. - ROAD - NIGHT

The unmarked car WHACKS the rear of the Olds, sending it into a spin, CRASHING it into a street light, CRUMPLING both, car and light pole.

Jesus and Sparky SKID to a stop, leap from the car, storm the damaged vehicle, guns drawn.

The DRIVER and Zippy, still in the disabled car, jerk their weapons up, try to get a bead on the charging Highway team.

Jesus SHOOTS through the windshield, EXPLODING the Driver's head like a melon, brain matter SPLATTERING the inside of the car.

                                                                     SPARKY

                                                         That might hurt a bit!!!

Zippy gives up, tosses his gun onto the street, sticks his empty hands out the window.

A THIRD MALE, in the backseat, jumps out, throws a punch at Jesus, misses.

Jesus grabs him, swings him at Sparky, who decks him with a RIGHT HOOK, sprawling him on the street, blood spurting from his wrecked nose.

Sparky picks up the discarded weapon, yanks Zippy from the car, shoves him face down, spread-eagled on the street.

Jesus notices the trunk has popped open; he glances in.

                                                                       JESUS

                                                                       Sparky!

Sparky handcuffs Zippy, then strides over, peers inside the trunk. It's full of knotted bags of crack cocaine.

                                                                       SPARKY

                                                                        Jesus!!!

                                                                         JESUS
                                                

                                                                         Yes???

                                                         Sparky gives him a dirty look.
